Where it ALL Began

 I took 4 years of Fashion and Fabrics in high school and learned to sew on a Singer sewing machine with a hand crank. The class was more of sewing and fabrics than it was fashion but I absolutely loved it none-the-less! Somehow along the way my focus in life was far from the sewing machine, I was on one single track going as fast as I can - college > more college > work > certifications > more work.

Fast forward 12 years, here I am wondering why I never had time to develop my love affair with the sewing machine. Here I am now rekindling my love with the sewing machine.

Nhumbi is a Shona word originating from Zimbabwe meaning clothes in the simplest terms, in more modern terms - clothing collection.
